The Visual Resources Association (VRA) is thrilled to announce the establishment of the Travel Awards Endowment. Founded through the generosity of a fellow VRA member, the fund provides long-term support for the Travel Awards program.

Internship Award

The Internship Award provides financial support for graduate students preparing for a career in visual resources and image management.

Travel Awards

The VRA offers several awards to assist member attendance at the VRA Annual Conference. The goal of the Travel Awards Program is to encourage and support conference attendance by both new members/conference attendees and veteran members/attendees. 

Professional Development Grant

The Professional Development Grant supports professional development in the field of visual resources and cultural heritage information management. The grant can be used to participate in a professional development opportunity of the grantee’s choosing.

Project Grant

The Project Grant supports projects in the field of visual resources and image management. Funds may be used for stand-alone projects, pilots or start-up financing for larger projects, or for a component of a larger project.
