Welcome to the VRA Canada Chapter!

Proposed Bylaws

VRA Canada is the first VRA Chapter to exist outside the United States and was approved by the VRA Executive Board on November 29th, 2007.

VRA Canada has had two meetings this past year. One, at the University of Toronto on June 1st and
the second at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto, Ontario on Friday, November 2nd, 2007.

As a group, we have voted in favor of a VRA Canada-wide chapter, primarily because of the lower number of Visual Resource Curators in Canada as compared
to that of the United States.

Both meetings have been web-cast live to Canadian Visual Resource Curators who were unable to physically attend the meetings. Some could not
attend the meetings simply because of geographic distances, but were able to participate remotely via the live web-cast.
